 Online Repository Services Acuity Services has engineered and developed a state of the art storage facility for your documents and images. This site was developed with a focus on a few key concepts in mind; security, functionality, and simplicity. This was engineered to protect your information. We use secured socket layer technology authenticated by a third party. Data transfer and storage is facilitated using 128 bit data encryption. Further security measures have been engineered into the gateway access pathways. Finally all of your data is username and password protected. As the originator of the data you have control over the viewing privileges of other authorized viewers. You can limit privileges at the document and or image level. Functionality As an authorized viewer you can view your documents and images from any internet access point. Your documents are stored in a PDF format and the current viewing tool is adobe acrobat. Your images are made accessible through an image viewing tool. The image viewer allows you to enlarge, reduce and rotate any of your images. Annotate taking tool has been incorporated allowing any authorized user to make notations on their opinions concerning the image they are viewing. Notes have 3 security layers; personal, group and global. Personal notes can only be viewed by the author of the notes. Group allows the author to make their notations visible to all authorized affiliate members of their organization. Global allows all authorized viewers access to a notation. The originator of the data controls whether other viewers can make notations. Only the author of the note can edit the notation. Simplicity This site was developed to aide in the sharing of data amount multiple parties and in doing so provide a lower cost alternative to the historical process of making multiple copies of information that in many cases is wasted expense.
